Welcome to history class! 
My name is Erin Boltz and I'm so excited to be your history teacher this year. This is my third year at Hawthorne. I graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in Social Studies Education. I grew up in a small town in north of Raleigh so I'm thrilled to have both a Target and a movie theater five minutes from my house here in Charlotte. After spending the last four years in Boone, I'm also excited about the lack of snow in a typical Charlotte winter. Outside of school, I love spending time outside exploring and hiking with my dogs.
